Robert Glenn DeWitt, Jr., 58, of Reedsville entered into eternal rest on Thursday April 21, 2022. He was born August 17, 1963. He was the son of the late Robert Glenn DeWitt Sr. and Donna Lee (Smith)DeWitt.

Bob was a well-known DJ and sports broadcaster for WFSP radio. He was known as the "Hitman" and was the first play-by-play announcer for the Preston High Knights. Furthermore, he prided himself as being an ambulance driver for Terra Alta, Valley District, and KAMP ambulance for many years.

Bob was survived by his children: Robert Glenn DeWitt Ill, Leland William DeWitt, and Destiny Desiree DeWitt; 1 Granddaughter, Lexi Rae DeWitt; and 5 siblings: Paula DeWitt Scudder, Glenda DeWitt, Cindy Lewis, William Cavallier and Kevin Desantis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his by wife, Virginia Lee (Herndon)DeWitt, 42, of Reedsville.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family wants to graciously thank everyone for their outpouring love.
