<p>Vito M. Quintanilla,86, of Hamlin, Texas, passed from this life on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at his home.&nbsp; Rosary will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022, 6:00 P.M.&nbsp; at the Adams-Foster-Ray Funeral Home Chapel in Hamlin.&nbsp; The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, April 26, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with burial in Hamlin Memorial Cemetery.&nbsp;</p> <p>Vito was born June 15, 1935 in Stamford, Texas. He married the love of his life October 16, 1957. He served in the National Guard for three years. He was a hard worker throughout his life. He was an avid church member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and working on his scratch off lottery tickets. Most important importantly he loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He never knew a stranger and loved to chat, even of he just met you! He had a story for every occasion. He loved his family and friends dearly.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Ynocante Quintanilla; his brothers, Amador, and Juan; his sisters, Fernanda, Betty, Juanita, Alcara, Thomasa and Marcela.</p> <p>Vito is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Eloise Quintanilla; his children, Irma (Victor) Salinas, Mario (Margie) Quintanilla, Albert Quintanilla, and Cynthia (John) Hernandez; nine grandchildren, Maria Quintanilla, Crystal (Victor) Cordero, M.J. (Lacey) Quintanilla, Matthew (Jessica) Quintanilla, Mark (Tina) Hernandez, Amanda (Marcus) Contreras, A.J. Quintanilla, Emily, and Valerie Hernandez; numerous great grandchildren as well as great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Lillie (Joe) Hernandez.</p>
