Beloved Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather, 74

 

 

Mr. Samuel G. Poloyapoy, 74, of Nutley, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on April 22, 2022. Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Tuesday, April 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The cremation will be held privately.

 

Mr. Poloyapoy was born and raised in Naga City, Philippines, where he was employed as a broadcaster for the Philippines Broadcasting Service for many years before emigrating to New York City. He then moved to Nutley, NJ in 2016

  

Mr. Poloyapoy is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years Alicia (nee Bermas Reyes) Poloyapoy; his loving children Samuel R. Poloyapoy and his wife Lian Reyes, Anthony J. Poloyapoy and his wife Hanna Morales, Dennis S. Poloyapoy and his wife Jenylou Repique and Theresa Reyes Poloyapoy and her husband Mark; his dear siblings Emelyn, Eden, Jenner, Romeo and Arleen; and his cherished grandchildren Carlos, Casey, Lucas, Max, Evan, Dean, Dale, Robb, Ryan and Noah. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  

 

Mr. Poloyapoy is predeceased by his parents Primo and Dolores (nee Garcia) Poloyapoy.
