<p>It is with great sadness that the family of Sue Ann (Stillson) Jones announces her unexpected passing on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the age of 58.</p> <p>Sue was born Dec. 17, 1963 in Grand Haven, Michigan, to Mary Ann (Beebe) and Richard Jack Stillson. She was a 1981 graduate of Grand Haven High School and married her sweetheart, Rodney E. Jones, on Sept. 20, 1983. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army as a Food Service Specialist for almost three years. During her enlistment, she was awarded numerous honors including the Army Achievement Medal with First Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Rifle M-16 Qualification Badge (Sharpshooter) and Hand Grenade Qualification Bade (Marksman).&nbsp; Upon her passing, &ldquo;Miss Sue,&rdquo; as she was fondly known by her fellow coworkers, was employed at Ranch Hand in Beeville as a fabricator.</p> <p>Sue enjoyed life and lived it like you should. She loved being with family, cooking, baking and holidays. She loved helping and giving to others - giving what she could to help someone in need. She loved her Sunday visits (video chats) with her children, grandchildren, sisters and brothers.</p> <p>She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Stillson; uncles Raymond, Gordy and Larry; aunt, Peaches; grandparents, Owen and Mabel Stillson; and a nephew, Cory Stillson.</p> <p>Left behind to cherish fond memories include her husband of 38 years, Rodney &ldquo;RJ&rdquo; Jones; mother, Mary Ann Stillson; daughter, Jessica Jones; son, Rodney Jones Jr.; three brothers, Johnn (Paula) Stillson, Jack (Pam) Stillson and Scott (Stephanie) Stillson; sisters, Robin Bullard, Polly Stillson and Cynthia (Russ) Culver; and very special family friends, Lincoln Flores and Skylar Sharp; nieces, Shannon Kolka, Stacy (Gabe) Strong, Alisha (Alex) Fauser, Abigail (Randy) Brown, Jessica Nelson and Mercedes Stillson; nephews, Richard (Pattie) Kolka, Joey (Connie) Luoma; several great-nieces and nephews; as well as her six wonderful grandchildren, Kaylor, Kyan, Kennedee, Klaire, Foster and Cassidy.</p> <p>Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Angelus Funeral Home in Beeville, Texas.</p>
