Phillip "Bill" William Hays
<p>Westernport, MD</p> <p>Phillip William “Bill” Hays, 86 of Westernport passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022.</p> <p>Born February 25, 1936, he was the son of the late William Abner and Helena (Jonosha) Hays.</p> <p>Bill retired from Westvaco after 45 years of employment. He was a member of the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Westernport. Bill was also a member of the Hiram Lodge #103 A.F. and A.M., as well as the Ali Ghan Shrine Temple.</p> <p>Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia (Schramm) Hays; his children, Brian Hays and wife, Leda of Pittsburgh, PA, Heather Raschella of Keyser, WV, Stephen Hays and wife, Doni of Bluemont, VA; and a sister, Regina Schramm and husband, Joe of Rawlings. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sarah, Gillian, Abigail and Sophia Hays, Rachel Raschella, and Alex and Caitlyn Hays; and great grandchildren, Caden Chelednik and Logan Kauffman. Bill is survived by close friends and caretakers, Eric and Vicki Alexander, Johnathan Worgan, Dana Canterbury, and Leah Myers.</p> <p>In accordance with his wishes, funeral services will be private.</p> <p>Bill’s family would like to extend a thank you for the compassionate care that he had received from the caretakers of the Tri-State Agency.</p> <p>Boal Funeral Home, Westernport assisted the family with funeral arrangements. </p>Obituary
