Brenda Elaine Samples, 63, of Newton Falls, Ohio passed on Saturday, April 16, 2022, in the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.  Brenda was born to Jeanette and Gerald Miller in Somerset, Pennsylvania on July 24, 1958.  She graduated from Windham High School in 1976.  She worked at Hess Print Solutions for twenty-seven years, where she was the head purchaser for the company.

Brenda was blessed with a large loving family that just kept growing. She married the love of her life, Robert Samples on February 24, 1990.  She raised her daughter whom she loved dearly.  She loved watching her grow, teaching her, and helping her through life’s happiness and joys just as much as life’s struggles.  Brenda loved taking family trips, especially to Myrtle Beach.  Everyone that knew her knew how much she loved having a good time and going to the casino.

She was extremely knowledgeable and her family referred to her as the “book of useless information” as she knew even the simplest of things.  For example, who the most famous groundhog of all is after hours of helpless research was done.  Brenda was the most patient, understanding and honest person and always would help others even if it was the shirt off her back.

Brenda’s life was her family.  Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were pride and joy in life.  From baking to swimming, to playing cards and helping with homework, she was with them daily and did what she could to help them be as successful and happy as possible.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Robert Samples; her daughter, Kristi Brockway (Derrick); her grandchildren, Lindsey Harris and Jakob Warren; her great grandchildren, Kaylee Harris and Jace Harris; her brothers, Buck Miller and Jack Miller; her sisters, Nancy Miller, Judy Miller, Lisa Cook and Tracey Finney.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernice and James Pugh and her parents, Jeanette and Gerald Miller.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Newton Falls VFW, 433 Arlington Blvd., Newton Falls, Ohio 44444.
