<p>Service will be lived streamed through Roblin Evangelical Mission Church web page</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Leona Marie (Wieler) Bartel was born March 26, 1968 to Frank and Helen Wieler in Fort Vermillion AB. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 18, 2022 in Russell, MB.</p> <p>She was the firstborn of 5 children. Leona was baptized upon her confession of faith in the spring of 1986, which she lived out fully and faithfully. Leona graduated from high school in June of 1986 and went on to college in Grande Prairie for her early childhood development program. She went to Three Hills AB bible school, and spent a summer in Chicago working with inner city kid&rsquo;s camps. Leona met Allen Bartel in High Level, AB. They got engaged in Russia while she was on an eleven month missions trip there. They were married on October 12, 1996 and lived in Prince George BC. They started their family two and a half years later when God blessed their home with Brooklyn in 1999 and with Shayla a few years later in 2001. In the summer of 2001 they moved to Roblin, MB where they welcomed Jaden in 2009 and later Valyne in 2012. Leona loved the outdoors, gardening and teaching, but most of all she loved being a mother.</p> <p>She was predeceased by her sister Edith and father in law Stanley Bartel. Leona will be greatly missed by her husband; Allen, her children; Brooklyn, Shayla, Jaden and Valyne, her parents; Frank and Helen Wieler, her mother in law; Mary Ann Bartel, siblings; Rose (Gary) Roth, Rachel (Peter) Neudorf, Calvin (Alyssa) Wieler, Marilyn (Denver) Penner, Coreen (Weldon) Reimer, Dale (Vonna) Bartel, Randy (Becky) Bartel, Sheryl (Ray) Isaac, along with many nieces and nephews and dearly loved friends.</p> <p>The family would like to thank all those who have supported them with your love, care and generous gifts during this time as well as the last three years.</p>
