Beverly L. Giauque Obituary

Beverly L. Giauque, age 82, of Wooster, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton, Ohio, following a period of declining health. She was born October 20, 1939 in Millersburg, Ohio to George R. and Leona G. (Anderson) Bower and married Dean W. Giauque on November 15, 1959 in Holmes County, Ohio. She was a 1957 graduate of Nashville High School and in June 1986 at the age of 46, she received an associate degree in office administration from the University Of Akron. She worked at Bell & Howell (Wooster), Wayne Dalton (Mount Hope), and Goodwill Industries (Wooster). She was a member of the Orrville Christian Church since 1994 and was blessed with much love and acceptance by her church family. Prior to that she was a member at Ripley Church Of Christ in Big Prairie, Ohio. She loved to travel throughout the United States and to her husband’s Army reunions. She felt very blessed by God for each of her children's unending positive attributes. She daily gave credit to God for his help in raising her children.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dean (at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton), daughter Kelly Giauque of Wooster, daughter-in-law Stacy Giauque of Shreve, Son Brian Giauque of Big Prairie, and Son Jarod and wife Dawn Giauque of Lakeville;  She is also survived by her grandchildren Kristy Shearer (Mike Tipton), Brent (Trisha) Giauque, Shawn (Danielle) Giauque, Justin Giauque, Jason Giauque, Jallyn Giauque, Douglas Giauque, and Jeffrey Giauque; and by her great-grandchildren, Alexander and Andrew Shearer, Londyn and Brooklyn Giauque, Travis, Wyatt, and Lucas Giauque, and Brystin Giauque; sister, Barbara Griffiths, and brother, Blair (Christine) Bower, and brother-in-law, Jerry Strouse.

She was preceded in death by her son, Bradley Giauque, her parents, George & Leona Bower, her sisters. Bonita McClure and Beatrice Strouse, and brothers-in-law Dean McClure and Thomas Griffiths.

Memorial contributions may be made to Goodwill Industries of Wooster, Ida Sue School/Nick Amster Sheltered Workshop of Wooster, The Christian Children's Home of Wooster, the Wayne County Library of Wooster, the Holmes County Library, or LifeCare Hospice.

Calling hours will be held at Ripley Church Of Christ on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 6-8 pm.

The funeral will be held at Ripley Church Of Christ on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 10 am with Pastor Tom Ledford of Orrville Christian Church officiating.  Burial will be at Nashville Cemetery, Nashville, Ohio.  Alexander Funeral Home Millersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
