SISTI, Frank, age 95 of Oakland, passed away on Tuesday April 19, 2022. Frank was born in Paterson, NJ to Antonio and Maria (Chiavaro) Sisti, but moved with his family to Fraine, Italy where he grew up. At the age of 18 he moved back to the United States where he met and married the love of his life, Yolanda Marrocco. They raised their family in Paterson and North Haledon, and later retired in Indian Rocks, Florida, before moving to Oakland in 2017. Before his retirement, Frank worked as a baker for Lazzara’s Bakery in Paterson. Frank was a devoted Giants fan. He also loved a glass of red wine and a bowl of homemade pasta. But above all his interests, hobbies, and talents, he was a true family man whose greatest passion was for his family. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his loving wife Yolanda (Marrocco) Sisti of Oakland. He was predeceased by his daughter Marie Montano in 2015. Devoted father to Francine Priester and her husband Ronald, and his son-in-law Anthony Montano Sr. Beloved grandfather to Anthony Montano, Jr. and his wife Cristina, Danielle Surmanek and her husband Jason, Stephanie Montano, Kimberly DiMinni, Dominick DiMinni and his wife Kim, and Nicholas DiMinni and his wife Faith. Cherished great grandfather to Anthony III, Michael, Gianna, JJ, Nicholas Jr., Abigail, and Charlotte. Frank also leaves behind his sister Antoinette Marino.

Friends may visit on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 4-7 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417. Funeral mass to be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 25 Purdue Avenue, Oakland, NJ. Entombment to follow at Mary Rest Cemetery, Mahwah.
