<p><strong><span style="font-size:24px;">Joy Lynn Willoughby, age 67 of Troy, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. She was born on December 29, 1954 in Middletown, OH to the late Orville and Elizabeth (nee Kemp) Willoughby.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:24px;">Those left to cherish Joy&rsquo;s memory include her daughter, Elissa (Damon) Ellison of Troy; son, Christopher Calhoun of Middletown, OH; sister, Jane (Titus) Willoughby Woods of Chico, CA; brothers, James (Melinda) Willoughby of Franklin, OH and John (Jolene) Willoughby; granddaughters, Leah Ellison and Shaelyn Pelfrey; extended family, Jeremy and Lisa Evans and their son Skylar; and many other family and friends.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:24px;">Joy received her bachelor&rsquo;s degree from Miami University and worked as a registered nurse. She loved to paint, spend time with her family, enjoyed bird watching and nature, and had a love for animals. Joy will be remembered by many for being such a gentle soul.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:24px;">The family is eternally grateful for the loving care provided by the team at Interim Hospice.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:24px;">A celebration of life will be held at a later date. &nbsp;Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home.&nbsp;</span></strong></p>

Joy Lynn Willoughby, age 67 of Troy, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. She was born on December 29, 1954 in Middletown, OH to the late Orville and Elizabeth (nee Kemp) Willoughby.
