Edwin Milton Vargason passed away April 18, 2022.

Edwin Milton Vargason, 75, passed away April 18, 2022 in Jacksonville, FL. Edwin was born on June 17, 1946 in Owensboro, KY to the late Logan Vargason and Leota Jarbot.

He graduated high school and went on to have a wonderful 37 year career with Greyhound Bus Lines. He loved being a Greyhound bus driver and instructor as well as collecting thousands of Greyhound buses.  Edwin enjoyed traveling especially going on cruises.  

Edwin was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Regina Vargason; second wife, Virgina “Jenny” Vargason and his parents.

Edwin is survived by his wife, Shirley Myers Vargason; children, Michelle Vargason and Alan Vargason (Lauren Long); grandchild, Forrest Vargason; step-children, Cindy Caccavello, Michelle Estep, Melissa Dawis as well as several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. both at First Baptist Church of Orange Park, 1140 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32073.
