After a short but courageous battle with cancer, and with her sister Linda by her side, Susan left us on April 12, 2022 at the early age of 61 at the Thompson General Hospital.

Susan is survived by her daughter Teresa (Alf), three grandchildren and her siblings Brian and Linda as well as several nephews and nieces.

Susan was predeceased by her loving parents Fred and Rose, and her siblings Rick and Daryl.

Susan moved to Thompson with her family as a young girl in 1963 and remained a fixture there until her passing. Susan was employed with Driftwood Royal Taxi for 43 years working as a dispatcher and was probably the first voice you heard when you called a cab. Susan was certainly set in her ways, one might even say she was a little bit stubborn at times, but her generosity would make up for that. Those of us who knew Susan were well aware of her kind heart and the fact she would do anything for anyone. Susan could often be found at the Thompson Legion meat draws or helping out with one of the many legion teas.

The family wishes to thank the tremendously wonderful, hardworking and caring staff of the second floor of the Thompson General Hospital.

As per Susans wishes cremation has taken place and no service will be held.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Susan's name to a charity of your choice.
