Anna B. Hendricks, 85 passed away peacefully on April, 16, 2022 at her home in Sharon, South Carolina.

Born June 19, 1936 in Plainfield, New Jersey and as an adult she married Horace Leonard Townsend and in 1979 they moved their family to Sharon, South Carolina.

Anna was very industrious and was employed by Cannon Mills-York, South Carolina. She also worked for Pharr Yarns- Gastonia, North Carolina. For 19 years she worked for Champion Laboratories-York, South Carolina as a Quality Control Supervisor.

She joined St. Luke #1, Baptist Church- Sharon, South Carolina in 1996 where she sang on the Hymn Choir and was a dedicated church member and a faithful Tithe and Offering giver.

She leaves to cherish her memory –Two Daughters: Ruth (Cookie) Brown and Pamila Townsend;

Four Grandchildren; Brandi Feemster, Torey (Keena) Feemster, Trina Townsend, and Ceazaar (Katherine)

Townsend and Two great-grandchildren: Braylon Feemster and Tiatianna Townsend.

 

Four brothers; Clinton (Edie) Jones Jr., Frank Jones, Freddy Jones, Danny (Bonnie) Jones,

Four Sisters; Mary Roberts, Nora Dunn, Delores Garner, Bertha J.Smith and a host of nieces and nephews, many friends and special Angels who always showed Love through Action!

 

Visitation will be held from 6pm -8pm –Monday, April 25, 2022 at Bratton Funeral Home
