<p>&nbsp;Russell Lynn Stone, 78, of Barboursville passed away at CAMC Memorial Hospital after a extended illness of Heart Disease. He was retired from Carbide Chemical Plant. He was preceded in death by his daughter Barbie Kennedy his son Rusty Stone and his mother and stepfather June Geraldine and Eugene Blount and brother Buddy Stone.</p> <p>He is survived by his children, Deanna Young, Karen Wilson, Stephen Stone all of Hurricane,&nbsp;7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.</p> <p>Graveside services will be held at 11:00 on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Forest Memorial Park.</p>

Lynn was like a brother to me. We use to work together. We have been friends for 50 years. We talked on the phone every day. When I went to visit him he always wanted me to make chicken and dumplings his favorite food..I will miss him so much.

I have known Lynn for 4 years, He was a positive upbeat guy who loved people and a good time. He was always so kind and caring. He will be missed by many.
