Janice Harris, 85, of Anderson passed away Sunday April 17, 2022 at Millers Merry Manor in Chesterfield. She was born on October 11, 1936 in Anderson to the late Chester and Lora Florence (Crouch) DeWeese.

Janice lived in Anderson most of her life and recently moved to Middletown. She enjoyed gardening, reading and being outdoors. Janice loved being with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Kimberly (Danny) Clark and Kristen (Jay) Spearman; grandchildren, Albert Jerald Skinner, Ryan Dion Jackson, Misty (Walter) Kalisz; great grandchildren, Alexis Skinner, Paris Skinner-Spearman, Madyson Skinner-Spearman, Tanden Kalisz, Zayven Kalisz, Phoenix Stanley, Evan Jackson and Hailey Jackson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Harris; sisters, Dorothy Dailey and Merna DeWeese; brother-in-law, Charley Dailey; mother-in-law, Beulah (Lawson) Harris and father-in-law, William Harris.

Services will be at 10:00 am Friday April 22, 2022 at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home Middletown Chapel. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday April 21, 2022 at the funeral home.
