Funeral services celebrating the life of Jason Darsee, age 49, of Centerville, Texas will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas. Pastor of the Cowboy Church of Leon County, Tuffy Loftin, will officiate the service. Jason will be laid to rest in Centerville Cemetery. The public is invited to attend a visitation for Jason Wednesday, April 20th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Charlie Richardson, Evan Neubauer, Tristen Darsee, Shane Darsee, Evan Anglace, Danny Patterson Jason Blake Darsee was born December 11, 1972 in Baytown, Texas to Herbert “Herb” and Kim (Patterson) Darsee. He was a graduate of Barbers Hill High School. He had lived in the Centerville area since January, 2010, coming from the Conroe area. Jason was an avid fisherman, model car collector and a movie buff. He was also a prankster and well known for playing jokes on his close family. Jason adored his family and always welcomed them with open arms and an open heart. This kindness and love also extended to Jason’s friends, as well. Jason’s body succumbed to long term illness April 16, 2022 while surrounded by his loving family. His physical body may no longer be present but his kind, warm spirit will be felt by all who knew and loved him. Jason was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, George & Lucinda Darsee; maternal grandparents, George & Wanda Patterson; grandchild, Noah Gaston and uncles, Danny Patterson, Ron Darsee and Jimmy Darsee. Surviving family members include parents, Herb and Kim Darsee of Centerville; son, Evan Anglace of Oxford, CT; daughters, Taylor Darsee (Ricky Gaston) of Dallas, Cailyn Darsee (fiancé, Trey Hamilton) of Pasadena and Alexis Darsee of Centerville; brother, Shane Darsee (Terri) of Mont Belvieu and grandchildren, Grayer, Sadie and Wyatt. Jason is also survived by nieces and nephews, Haley Darsee (fiancé, Estevan Gonzales), Trevor Darsee (fiancé, Janin Caballero), Tristen Darsee and Brenna Darsee and great-nephew, Ian Gonzales, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Arrangements are entrusted to Walters Funeral Home, Centerville, Texas.
