Martin J. Lampereur Obituary

Martin “Marty” Lampereur, age 77, passed away with his family at his side on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Martin was born on October 7, 1944, to the late Norbert and Marie (Wautier) Lampereur in Forestville, Wisconsin. He spent his childhood on the family farmstead learning many valuable lessons including faith, hard work, and the importance of family.

It was at Brussels High School that he met the love of his life, Denice Jandrain, at the age of sixteen. They were married on August 17, 1963, and never parted until the day he was called home to heaven. Denice says, “I loved you your whole life. I will miss you the rest of mine.” Martin was the best dad to his three daughters: Melissa, Michele, and Lesley. They have so many memories of a dad that showed his love in so many ways.

Martin had a simple, quiet life. He worked at Fort Howard Paper Mill for 37 years in the printed napkin department. He enjoyed spending time in his woods, riding his Harley, watching the Brewers, and camping at Peninsula State Park with his kids and grandkids. Teaching his first grandson, Travis, how to deer hunt was among one of Marty´s greatest joys. Martin was the best Papa to his eight grandchildren. Their memories of a man that was their biggest fan will live forever in their hearts.

Martin is survived by his wife: Denice; three daughters: Melissa Winter, Michele (Andy) Nigbur and Lesley (Mark) Ravet; eight grandchildren: Travis (Mariah), Danielle (Jared), Racheal (Nelson), Chelsea (Andy), Mitchell, Emily, Olivia, and Paige; one great-granddaughter: Payton. He is further survived by his three sisters: Diane (Lloyd) Coppersmith, Mary (Brad) Larson, Theresa (Maynard) DeGuelle; a sister-in-law: Alison LeCloux and brother-in-law: Shawn (Lori) Jandrain.

In addition to his parents Norbert and Marie, Martin is preceded in death by his son-in-law: Dan Winter.

A celebration of life will be held at St. John’s The Baptist Church, 2957 Glendale Avenue, Green Bay on Friday April 22, 2022, at 4:00 pm with Father Jim Lucas officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 2:30 pm until the time of service at St. John The Baptist Church.
