Earl S. Christian, age 81, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2022. He is the beloved husband of 30 years to Kathy Christian; loving father of Maurie Buckingham, Cherie Gfeller and her husband Marc, Earl Christian Jr., and the late Lee Ann Abend; step father of Debbie Leonard, Chris Joiner, and Karen Benner; dear grandfather of William Reed, Theresa Makowski, Precious Buckingham, Jamie Buckingham, Christian Buckingham, Tyler Gfeller, Hayden Gfeller, Steven Joiner, Andrew Merwin, Rebecca Merwin, and Ryan Benner; great grandfather of Jaxson Joiner, Lily Hauck and Harper Makowski; dear brother of Charles Christian and his wife Dorothy. Earl is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ester Christian and his siblings Frederick Christian, Carl Christian, Louise Reynolds, Ester Forbes, and Rhonda Fellerman.

Earl graduated from Elmer L. Meyers High School in 1959 where he starred on the football, basketball, and baseball teams. He attended technical school in NYC and was employed by Westinghouse for 28 years in Baltimore. Earl was an avid sports fan particularly Penn State, Orioles, and Ravens. He will be deeply missed.

Family members and friends will gather at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church on Saturday April 23, 2022 from 10am-11am where a funeral Mass will take place at 11am.  Interment will immediately follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
