Pete Montemayor was born on March 8, 1962 in Lubbock and passed on April 11, 2022. He was a mechanic by trade, loved dogs and love to cook; he made some of the best catfish and tuna salads. Pete's favorite things to eat were red pistachios and sunflower seeds. He was a lover of music of all types but especially classic rock, modern Spanish music as well as anything he could dance to. 

Pete is survived by his brothers Andrew (Fro) Montemayor, Jonathan Montemayor, sister Maria Dolores (B.B) Montemayor-Garcia and was preceded in death by his father Manual Ray Montemayor and mother Mary Elena Montemayor. 

Services for Pete will be at St Patrick Church on Wednesday April 20 2022 at 10AM with Reverend Dr Joseph Thanavelil officiating. There will be a burial at Peaceful Garden Memorial Park following the service
