Carolyn F. Humphrey Sneed, 85, of Corydon, died Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born May 25, 1936, in New Amsterdam, Indiana, to the late Frank L. and Valena Sonner Humphrey.  She was retired from Pillsbury in New Albany after 32 years and was a member of Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon.  Carolyn loved fishing, cooking and attending Ivan Parker concerts, and was a proud mom, grandma, great grandma and great great grandma.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert H. “Herbie” Sneed; her daughter, Deborah Jean Sneed Lidikay; and her brothers, Robert and Carl Humphrey.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda C. Sneed Morgan (Kenny) of Depauw, Indiana and Brenda S. Sneed Nolasco (Ramiro) of Corydon; her brother, Paul Humphrey (Lee) of Florida; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be a t 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Michael P. Elliott will officiate.  Burial will be in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.

 

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Devon Yates, Julio Chavez Yates, Ronoldo Nolasco Yates, Jason Watson, Brandon Conrad, Justin Conrad, Dustin Hoskins, Billy Ramiro Ramirez, and Jeff Humphrey.
