Mr. Claude W. Foster, 87, of Moravian Falls, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Mountain Valley Hospice Home in Yadkinville.

He was born on October 16, 1934 in Wilkes County to Margaret Foster.

Claude worked in construction for 60 years and was the owner of Claude W. Foster Construction.  He was also an avid hunter; fisherman and he loved his dog, Buddy. 

 He is preceded in death by his mother, step- father, Howard “Runt” Bynum; brother, Jimmy Bynum and sister, Judy Acker.

Claude is survived by his wife, Deborah Gail Dancy-Foster, with whom he shared 31 loving years; son, Brock C .Foster and wife, Shellie of Moravian Falls; daughters, Sherry Huffman and significant other, Miguel Greene of Millers Creek, Janice Huffman of Wilkesboro; sister, Betty Joines and husband, Don of Moravian Falls; brother- in-law Michael Acker of Charlotte; grandchildren, Mayson Foster, Hayden Foster, Molly Barnette, Dustin Roe and wife, Ashley, Joseph Estepp III, Jadon Estepp, Chase Huffman and Lexia Huffman. 

A private service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

In addition to flowers, memorial donations may be given to in his honor to Mountain Valley Hospice, 243 N. Lee Ave. Yadkinville, NC 27055
