Visitation will be at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, April 20 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.&nbsp;There will be a funeral service celebrated&nbsp;at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, 28 Hoover Avenue, Bloomfield with military honors.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong>Mr. Wells was a lifelong resident of Belleville, NJ. He was a proud graduate of Belleville High school class of 1965. He was employed in the pharmaceutical industry for over thirty years, most recently he was employed as a&nbsp;senior supervisor for&nbsp;Merk Pharmaceuticals, Rahway before retiring. Mr. Wells proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.&nbsp;He was also a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #493, Nutley.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong>Mr. Wells is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years Patricia (nee Ferrara) Wells; his five loving children Richard Henry Wells and his wife Krista, Rory Joseph Wells and his wife Lisset, Tanya Marie Bishop, Ryan Norman Wells and his wife Danyale, and Anthony DeWoolf and his wife Salema; his dear siblings William Wells, Barbara Wells, Florence Alice Walker, and Josephine Brazier. He is also survived by his many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong>Mr. Wells is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Julia (nee Caeser) Wells; his five brothers and his two sisters; and his grandson Roman Daniel Wells.</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:times new roman,times,serif;"><strong>In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Little Zion U.A.M.E Church, 154 Stephens Street, Belleville NJ 07109 in memory of Henry Wells.</strong></span></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
