Dateline-Candia, NH Robin Louise Dahlbloom, 65, passed away April 15, 2022 at her home in Candia, NH. She was born June 18, 1956 in Arlington, MA, daughter of the late Saul Skersey and Helen (Hirshman) Christman. Robin grew up in Bedford, NH and had the fondest memories growing up on their family farm. Her life calling was always meant to be with animals as she loved all pets especially horses. From an early age and throughout her life, Robin loved riding horses. In 1996, this passion evolved into her starting her first pet store Get-A-Pet in Nashua. Her personality of being funny, personable, and smart helped her achieve success with her business so much she was able to expand and ultimately have 5 stores with other locations in Manchester, Salem, Newington, NH and Bangor, ME. Her first husband was Peter Peck and they had a daughter, Alayna Peck. They resided in Allenstown, NH for several years. Her second marriage was to Arvid Dahlbloom Sr. and they moved to Auburn, NH. They had a son, Arvid Dahlbloom Jr. in 1988. It was in Auburn that Robin also owned horses. Her family fondly remembered that it always seemed Robin’s preference in horses tended to be with the troubled ones that she could train her way. Her other hobbies included painting, listening to music and playing the piano. Robin is survived by her significant other, Jed Brewer, daughter, Alayna Peck, son and daughter-in-law, Arvid and Maurine Dahlbloom Jr., 2 grandchildren, Janessa and Serenity Gangi, brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Mary Ann Skersey, sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Kevin Shaughnessy, care-provider and close friend, Tiffany Philbrick, 2 nephews and 1 niece. There are no calling hours. Graveside service at the Bedford Centre Cemetery, Bedford, NH will be announced once scheduled.
