EDGARDO N. CORDERO, age 58. born in Manhattan, New York March 25th, 1964, passed away in Cleveland, Ohio April 14th, 2022 of pancreatic cancer. Edgardo was a dedicated and devoted man of God. Beloved husband of Diamar (nee Felix) for 25 years; devoted father of Eliana Cordero (Alfredo Ortiz), Isaiah Cordero, Noel Cordero, Andre Cordero, and Edgardo Cordero, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Amelia Ortiz, and Xavier Ortiz; caring son of Iris Camacho and Noel (deceased); dear brother of Gabriel Velasco, Rosalina Velasco, Naomi Cordero, and Selma Cordero; caring uncle and friend of many.

Edgardo was a quiet child at first, until his family moved to Cleveland Ohio in 1971. Edgardo soon began to open up and become the outgoing fun boy on the block with the help of his love for baseball and boxing. He attended Scranton Elementary/Junior High, and Lincoln West High School. After graduating with his GED, he began studying at Cuyahoga Community College and obtained an Associates in Cement Masonry. He then began working for Cement Masons Local 404 where his knowledge and passion for construction blossomed. 14 years later, in 2007, he started his very own company, Cordero Concrete and Construction. In 2015, Edgardo joined his career at PSA/American Airlines alongside his personal entrepreneurial work. Edgardo had many business ventures in between his careers as he enjoyed learning and staying busy.

For those fortunate to have known him, or have met him at all knew he was a sweet, kind, hilarious, and respectful man. He will be missed by many, but left a footprint on this world that will never be forgotten.

Funeral service 10:00 am Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the funeral home. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
