Randy Wayne McGowan, age 60, of Mena, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at his home. He was born on Saturday, May 6, 1961 to James McGowan and Sylvia (Hooper) McGowan in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Randy was a simple country boy. He enjoyed living in a small town and doing anything that involved the outdoors or the lake. Randy liked to BBQ and cook out on the grill any chance he got. He was a plumber by trade and ran his own construction business at one time. Randy enjoyed listening to country music and hanging out with his sister Tami. They would work outside or just run around doing simple things all while making memories together. Randy was a loving son, grandfather, dad, brother, uncle, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, James McGowan; one brother, Louis McGowan; two loving sons, Matthew McGowan and Randy Grace. Randy is survived by one son, Robert McGowan of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one sister Tami Gattis of Mena, Arkansas; one brother, James McGowan of Spring, Texas; 7 grandchildren; and special friend Rickey Morse; and a host of other relatives and friends. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
