Merlin E Millican Obituary

Merlin E. Millican, 88, of McConnelsville, passed away at his daughter Jody and Jeff’s home with his family surrounding him singing Victory in Jesus, on Thurs, April 14, 2022.  He was born on Aug. 12, 1933 in Haleyville, Alabama to the late Willie Earl Millican and Lilly Ruth Smith.  He worked as an Iron Worker out of Local # 172 in Columbus, spending many years with the George P. Dicer Company.  He was a member of the Westfall Baptist Church in Whitehall.  He is survived by a son, Michael (Sandy) Millican of Blacklick, 5 daughters, Janie (Bob) Tamulevich of Whitehall, Reginia (Jeff) Taylor of Malta, Bridget (Brad Reed) McGrew of McConnelsville, Jody (Jeff Gilmore) McGrew of McConnelsville and Krystal Millican of Whitehall, several grandchildren, great grand, great great grandchildren and a special friend Sherri.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia McCoy, a daughter, Shelia Sermon and a grandson, Bobby Tamulevich.  Services will be held on Thurs, April 21, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Westphal Ave. Baptist Church, 780 Westphal Ave. Whitehall, Ohio 43213 with burial following in the Forest lawn Cemetery on East Broad Street.  Friends may call on the family from 11-1 the day of the services at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Westphal Baptist Church.  Cards may be sent to the Millican Family 1363 W.
