East Liverpool, OH.

Junior F. Underwood of East Liverpool passed at his home while in the loving care of his family on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. He had been diagnosed with mesothelioma two years earlier.

He was the son of the late Alma Swiger Underwood, and he was born in Center Point, Doddridge County, West Virginia on April 29, 1938. He was 83 years old.

Junior worked at the former Crucible Steel in Midland until its closing, and he retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel.

He had been a faithful member of the Boyce Church in the East End of East Liverpool.

Junior will be deeply missed by his wife of 62 years, Louise Skinner Underwood, his children, Peggy (Jay Davis) Brooks of East Liverpool, Daniel (Barbara) Underwood of Pikeville, NC., and John (Patti Kostelnak) Underwood of Lowellville, OH. Also, numerous grand and great-grandchildren survive.

Junior’s wishes were that no services be held. He is in the care of Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
