Eddie Atkins III was born May 23, 1953, to the union of the late Lula Mae Hill, and Eddie Atkins Jr. was called home on April 12, 2022, after his battle with a long illness.
Eddie was loved and was very well known by his community.
Eddie worked at Benton Harbor High School for over 40 years as a mentor and friend to many children. He was truly a people person and will be missed by so many, young, and old. Gone too soon. But will continue to live on in our hearts.
He leaves to morn his wife of 31 years Patricia Jones-Atkins, 3 Sisters, 5 brothers, 3 sons, 3 daughters, 2 stepdaughters, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Mae Atkins, father Eddie Atkins Jr, Grandparents Mr. Ed and Mrs. Effie Atkins, one brother, two sisters, and a host of aunts and uncles.
