Earl V. Curran, Sr. Age 76 passed away on December 28, 2015 he lived in Glen Burnie, MD. Mr. Curran was born in Baltimore, MD on May 28, 1939. He worked as a machinist, with Maryland Glass, from 1955 until the mid 1980's, then with Carr Lowrey Glass until his retirement in the late 1980's. Both companies were steeped in the tradition of glass making for over 114 years. Carr Lowrey closed in 2003. Earl enjoyed fishing and hunting, mostly though he enjoyed cooking for and feeding his hunting companions in their hunting camp. Other interests included Baseball, Football and NASCAR. Surviving are his wife, Edna L. Curran who he married on June 5, 1966, his sons, Earl Curran Jr. of Pasadena, MD, Michael Curran of Glen Burnie, MD and Steven Curran of Chester, MD., a brother, Alan Haines of Glen Burnie, MD., his nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Preceding him in death were his brothers, John Curran and Richard Sweeney. Relatives and friends may call at the Hardesty Funeral Home, P.A. 851 Annapolis Road Gambrills, MD on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Where services will be held on Monday January 4, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Interment Glen Haven Cemetery, Glen Burnie, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 1041 Rt. 3. North Gambrills, MD 21054
