Linwood "Lin" Odell Rogers, Jr., 66, of Fayetteville, died April 14, 2022, at his home.
He retired from Time Warner Cable after 33 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and grandchildren and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cynthia Rogers of Fayetteville, his mother Ann Rogers of Fayetteville, his brother Roy Rogers of Sanford, NC, his brother Johnny Rogers of Fayetteville, his son Joseph Rogers and wife Mary of Fayetteville, his daughter Heather Watkins of Hope Mills, his daughter Lisa White and husband Don of Arlington, TX, and his nephew Gary Ellis & his wife Misty of Austin, TX. He had 13 grandchildren, Christian, Sandra, Brittany, Joey, Alyssa, Callin, Charlotte, Claire, Carter, Christina, Alexis, Garrett and Conner. He also had one great granddaughter Delilah.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 19 at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home on Ramsey Street from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Lafayette Memorial Park & Mausoleum on Ramsey Street officiated by Pastor Damion Quaye.
