Phyllis Ingeri, 84, of Bayville, NJ, passed away in the comfort of her home on April 12, 2022, surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Brooklyn and on Long Island with her husband, Salvatore, of 37 years before settling in Bayville upon his passing. She was a member of the Ladies of the Rosary Association, an active parishioner of St. Barnabas Church in Bayville, loved to dance and loved to socialize with everyone in her community. To meet her was to instantly love her.
She is survived by her children, Robert Ingeri, Sr. (Danielle), Debbie Dziedzic (Paul), and Michael Ingeri, as well as her sister, JoAnn Raspantini (Mario), grandsons Robert Ingeri, Jr. (Raquel) and Nicholas Ingeri (Rebecca), and great-granddaughter Kaley Ingeri. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Salvatore Ingeri, and her granddaughter, Marissa Ingeri.
Visiting hours will be Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City, Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, April 20th 11:00 am at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd in Bayville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Phyllis’ memory may be made to the Ladies of the Rosary Association through St. Barnabas Church or to the American Cancer Society.
