Hezekiah D.L. Charles, 12, of Lincoln, passed away at Bryan Medical Center East on April 9, 2022. Born November 7, 2009, in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Hezekiah attended Belmont Elementary School from preschool to the 5th grade. He enjoyed playing with his friends from school and loved Firetrucks. Hezekiah was much loved and well taken care of by family and friends.

His family wishes to give a special thank you to Dr. Mary Rickard and Horisun Hospice.

Hezekiah is survived by his parents, Eddie Charles and E’Boni Clay; sisters, AnJanette Marie Charles and Hailey Weikel; grandparents, Daniel Webster Clay Jr., LaNora Clay, Maria Gabriel, Walter Charles, Dawn Perkins and Augi Hypolite; along with numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Angel Charles.

Funeral service is 11:00 Friday, April 22, 2022, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 5200 R Street, with burial at Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Funeral Home.
