<p>Angela Hall Hicks, 76, was born on October 29, 1945, and passed on April 11, 2022 in Rock Hill, SC after a long illness.</p> <p>Angela was preceded in death by her mother Su-Yun Chen Chia,&nbsp;her father Feng-Yang Chen, formerly&nbsp;of China and her brother Richard M. Jefferson of Fort Mill, SC.</p> <p>Angela survived by her husband Douglas Wayne Hicks of York, SC, her brother Peter Chen of Charlotte, NC, her sister Elsie Vogel of High Point, NC, her nieces Connie and Joanne Vogel of High Point, NC.&nbsp;</p> <p>Angela spent most of her years excelling in cosmetology in Monroe, NC. She prided herself upon the relationships she developed with her customers who in turn became her friends.</p> <p>Angela shared many moments with her dog Lola&nbsp;(Puppy Chow). She also had a special bond with a group of her friends called the August Girls. Many an hour was spent on the beach, by the pool and just talking.</p> <p>She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and shagging being a member of both the Charlotte and Rock Hill Shag Clubs.&nbsp;</p> <p>A graveside service will be held Saturday April 16, 2022 at 3pm at Grandview Memorial Gardens Rock Hill, SC&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Angela Hall Hicks, 76, was born on October 29, 1945, and passed on April 11, 2022 in Rock Hill, SC after a long illness.

Angela was preceded in death by her mother Su-Yun Chen Chia, her father Feng-Yang Chen, formerly of China and her brother Richard M. Jefferson of Fort Mill, SC.

Angela survived by her husband Douglas Wayne Hicks of York, SC, her brother Peter Chen of Charlotte, NC, her sister Elsie Vogel of High Point, NC, her nieces Connie and Joanne Vogel of High Point, NC. 

Angela spent most of her years excelling in cosmetology in Monroe, NC. She prided herself upon the relationships she developed with her customers who in turn became her friends.
