Yovanny Francisco Sanchez, 48, of Lawrence passed away on April 8, 2022. Yovanny was born in Santiago, Dominican republic the son of Hector Rafael Cid and his wife Altagracia De Jesus. Yovanny moved to Lawrence when he was 15 years old. He attended Lawrence High School. Yovanny was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Lawrence. He was employed as a landscaper/installer for Atlantic  Sports Group when he helped construct sports courts throughout the New England states for homeowners and installed and maintained  the Astroturf for the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

Yovanny enjoyed cooking, his family, riding his motorcycle and his dog, "Coco". His family recalls him as a simple man who was always happy. making jokes and the love of his family and friends.

Friends may call Tuesday, April 12, 2022 form 4:00 to 8:00 pm at FARRAH FUNERAL HOME, 133 Lawrence Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.A funeral mass will be offered Wednesday at 10:00 am at ST. MARY OF THE ASSUMPTION CHURCH in Lawrence. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Lawrence.
