<p>Maudie &quot;Aline&quot; Dobson, age 82 of Valley City went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April&nbsp;11, 2022 after an extended illness.&nbsp; Aline was born March 31, 1940 in Laura, Kentucky to Elcana and Dixie McCoy.&nbsp; She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gerald &quot;Jerry&quot; Dobson, her four children, daughters Rhonda (Jim) Vanek of Powell, WY,&nbsp;Raelene (Dave) Nickerson of Kent, Ohio, Annie (Charlie) Kershner of Ashland, OH and son, Michael (Bianka) Dobson of Valley City, OH, seven grandchildren, Sarah, Breeanna, Carli, Logan, Silas, Nehemiah and Ruth. six siblings, Ethel, Jean. Lewis, Linda, Bonnie and Tim. Her brother Bill&nbsp; preceded her in 2020.&nbsp;</p> <p>Aline was a dedicated homemaker who devoted her life to loving and caring for her family.&nbsp; She was a talented seamstress who enjoyed sewing, crafting, collecting dolls and tending to her rose garden. She was a member of the Southwest Baptist Church of Brunswick, Ohio.&nbsp; She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and loved her.</p> <p>Following Aline&#39;s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be at a later date.</p> <p>Memorials are suggested if desired may be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve.</p>

Maudie "Aline" Dobson, age 82 of Valley City went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 11, 2022 after an extended illness.  Aline was born March 31, 1940 in Laura, Kentucky to Elcana and Dixie McCoy.  She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gerald "Jerry" Dobson, her four children, daughters Rhonda (Jim) Vanek of Powell, WY, Raelene (Dave) Nickerson of Kent, Ohio, Annie (Charlie) Kershner of Ashland, OH and son, Michael (Bianka) Dobson of Valley City, OH, seven grandchildren, Sarah, Breeanna, Carli, Logan, Silas, Nehemiah and Ruth. six siblings, Ethel, Jean.
