Roy M. Sinyard, Jr., age 67, of 3233 Highway 41 South, Elko, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at Perry Hospital.

Born in Unadilla, he was the son of the late Roy M. Sinyard and Jessie Mae Altman Sinyard.  Roy served his country with honor in the United States Marine Corps and won awards as a sharpshooter.  He was a proud Marine!  He spent his life in the construction business and also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.  Above all, Roy was a man who loved his family and enjoyed the time he spent with them, especially his grandchildren.

Daughter:  Sabrina Sinyard of Unadilla

Son:  Shon Taylor (Katrice) of Unadilla

Step-Daughter:  Tara Smith of Elko

Step-Son:  Lamar Taylor of Unadilla

Judy Offenberg (John) of Unadilla
Pam Holmes (Terry) of Atlanta

Brother:  Ronald Sinyard (Fran) of Unadilla

Grandchildren:  9

Great Grandchildren:  1

Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 15 at Snow Cemetery.

The family will greet friends 6 - 8 PM Thursday, April 14 at the funeral home.
