<p>Robert Howard Payette (known by all as Bud) has passed away on April 6th,2022.</p><p><br></p><p>Bud was born March 2, 1929 in Hanna, Alberta and was the eldest son and second oldest of 7 children,</p><p>Vicky ,Bud, Ardell, Syd, Joyce, Donnie and Gary. Bud started work at 14 on the CP Rail to help support his</p><p>family. Eventually through a number of location changes he settled in Squamish as Roadmaster. Robert,</p><p>Sandra and Raymond were his three children from his first marriage and then after meeting the love of </p><p>his life, Marion, the two were married in 1974, Marion's children Joe and Marie made it a big family of 7.</p><p><br></p><p>Bud worked many years for PGE/BCR but found a second career at BC Parks that he loved.</p><p><br></p><p>Bud is predeceased by his Dad, Robert, and his beloved Mom, Helen, his sisters Vicky and Ardell and brothers Syd and Donnie. Sadly he is also predeceased by his daughter Marie and granddaughter Joanna.</p><p><br></p><p>Bud was a loving and cherished friend to his friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Bud/Dad/Grandpa was a lovely husband, the best Dad and a Grandpa that was adored by his many grandchildren</p><p>and great grandchildren we all shattered but grateful he is at peace.</p><p><br></p><p>The family would like to thank Dr. Cudmore and the staff at Squamish General Hospital and Dr. Millar and the nurses at Sea to Sky Hospice.</p><p><br></p><p>The Service will be held at 2:00 pm (1400 hours) on April 23, 2022 at the Railway Museum of BC located</p><p>at 39645 Government Road, Squamish.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Sea to Sky Hospice Society 38140 Behrner Drive, Squamish, BC V8B 0J3</p>
