Dorothy Sue “Dot” Turner, age 78, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, at TriStar Stone Crest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Born June 12, 1943, to the late Archie and Mary Eades, “Dot” devoted her life to being a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. “Dot” loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and was a fourteen-year member of New Hope Baptist Church of Manchester, Tennessee. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and especially enjoyed participating in the activities, at her assisted living facility, Kingwood Arms. “Dot” also enjoyed being outdoors, flowers, drinking coffee, watching her daily Soap Operas and Listening to Country Music, Conway Twitty being her favorite. “Dot” will surely be missed by her loving family and friends.

Other than her parents, preceding her in death is her husband of five years, Wayne Turner; one brother, Jerry Eades; and beloved dog, Misty.

Survivors include four daughters, Judy Fort, Karen Weber, Wanda (Tim) Hodge and Becky (Tom) Williams; one sister, Joyce Frederick; seven grandchildren, Mary Fort, Tammy Fort, Tim (Leah) Weber, Tommy Joe Gaines, Amanda Hanley, Megan (Heath) Sain and Dustin Williams; eleven great grandchildren; and beloved cat, Suzie.

Visitation will be held at Manchester Funeral Home on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 11AM until 2PM.

Funeral Services will be held, at the funeral home, at 2PM with Bro. Leon Williams officiating.

Interment to immediately follow at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Manchester, Tennessee.
