Carol was born on December 24, 1945 in Borger and was lost tragically in a house first at her home in Lubbock on March 30, 2022. Along with Carol a house mate she had taken in was also lost in this fire. Carol was always a kind and caring person and spent the last 15 years as a home care coordinator. She had been active in the Lubbock Advertising community for many years.

She is survived by two sisters Ruth Laughery of Midland and Paula Pechacek of Lubbock; eight nieces and nephews that she doted on and is also survived by Melonie Lindsey, Jane Laughery, Kim Bly, Marc Crow and Michael Carper of Lubbock and Michelle Roys and Melissa Dimit of Midland.
