Sandra Kay Watkins, age 69, of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, died on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at the St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas.  She was born on Saturday, January 17, 1953 to Elijah Melvin and Mable May Stout Gammon in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. 

Sandra was a woman of faith and loved her children with all her heart.  She loved to spend time with them and they brought her great pride and joy.  She was a wonderful wife and made sure her husband was taken care of.  Sandra enjoyed working in her flower beds, she loved to laugh and watch horror movies.  Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend and will be missed and loved by all who knew her.  

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, LaShonda Watkins, three brothers, Glendle Gammon, Eddie Gammon and Melvin Gammon; and two sisters, Leta Mae Gammon and Shirley Treat. 

Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Watkins of Murfreesboro, Arkansas; her sons and daughters, in law, LaDon and Anissa Watkins of Ratcliff, Arkansas, Sam and Treva Watkins of Rattan, Oklahoma and Trandin and Virginie Watkins of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; one daughter and son in law, Sandy and Danny Wilson of London, Arkansas; three sisters, Rudeen Caldwell of Holly Creek, Oklahoma, Fay Sepulvado of Texarkana, Texas and Brenda Venable of Maude, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ben Pollock officiating.  No visitation is planned.  Arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Watkins, LaDon Watkins, Trandin Watkins, Danny Wilson, Wesley Watkins and Cody Wilson.
