James H. “Jim” Jipson Bouckville-James H. ‘Jim” Jipson,78, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Jim was born on September 24, 1943 in the Town of Augusta, the son of the late Daniel and Francis Jipson. Jim was raised in Bouckville and was a graduate of Madison High, Class of 1962. Following graduation, Jim entered the United States Army as an Artillery Specialist. In 1974, in front of the Justice of the Peace, in Unadilla Forks, Jim married Diane Emhof. Their loving relationship lasted over 46 years until Diane’s passing in 2020. Jim made a life-long career working at the Bouckville Mill. He enjoyed all of his co-workers and customers. Jim retired in 2013 as the Mill’s Forman with 47 years of service. Jim was a hard worker, never a quitter, and achieved what he wanted out of life because of his positive attitude. He was a great outdoorsman, who especially enjoyed camping. He also enjoyed family picnics. Moreover, Jim’s world evolved around his family and especially his grandkids. Jim leaves a lasting legacy of nurturing love and care for his family. Jim is survived by daughter Lyne Jipson and her fiancé, Aaron Walters, of Bouckville, an “adopted” daughter Nicole Moot Craver, and her husband Jim of Bouckville; his sisters Carol Grinnell of Madison and Mary Jones of Waterville; his beloved grandchildren: Jacob, Andrew, Matthew, Tyler, Christian, Kaylee, Margret; several other grandchildren, along with nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents, Dan and Francis, his beloved wife, Diane on December 24, 2020, and his beloved son Paul A. Jipson Sr., on July 11, 2012. In keeping with Jim’s wishes, family graveside services with Military Honors will be held in Madison Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours.
