Priscilla (Penny) Mae Campbell Price died on Friday, April 8, 2022 due to complications of Alzheimers.  She was born December 21, 1944 in Zanesville to Frank E. and Ruth E. (Jarrett) Campbell.  She grew up in the Ringgold area and attended Ringgold Elementary School, Homer-Union Junior High and was a graduate of M&M High School, McConnelsville in 1962.  On September 8, 1962 she married her high school sweetheart Charles (Charlie) W. Price.  She started her career as the coffee shop manager at Burr Oak State Park Lodge.  Her career took a new direction when she started driving her own car for Morgan Local Schools as a driver for the Headstart Program.  Soon after she began as a cook at Homer-Union Elementary School where she would spend the next 36 years working alongside her partner in crime, Bonnie Canter.  She finished her career as the cafeteria manger at West Elementary near Portersville. She was a lifelong member of Fairview Holiness Church of Burr Oak Dock Three.  She is survived by her husband of 59 years Charles Price of the home, sons, Charles W. Jr. (Chuck) (Carrie) of Malta and Jeffrey A. of Arlington, VA, two grandchildren; Alyssa (Lori Bevan) of Lancaster and Joshua (Courtney) of Malta and one great-granddaughter, Cora Noelle Price. She is also survived by her six siblings; Frank Jr. (Sandy) of Reidsville, NC, Rick and friend, Kelly, Ginger, Becky (Lee) Hill, Terry, sister-in-law, Joyce, and Cecil (Teri) and good family friend, Bobbi Harrison all of Malta, several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Steven.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 12, from 4pm-8pm at Matheney Funeral Home, 165 N. Kennebec Avenue, McConnelsville, OH and one hour prior to funeral services on Wednesday, April 13, 10am at Bishopville Church of Christ, 6555 St. Rt. 78, Glouster, OH where funeral services will be held at 11am.  Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, alz.org or Shrivers Hospice.  The family expresses their sincere thanks to the staff of Shrivers Hospice for their caring and loving support.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
