Curtis Awrey of Middleville, formerly of Hastings, passed away on April 8, 2022 at the age of 88. Curtis was born on September 20, 1933 in Auburn, MI the son of Herbert Awrey and Doris Thomas. Curtis was employed by Bradford White as a production supervisor for 22 years. He was a life member of the Hastings Moose Lodge. Curtis attended Parmelee United Methodist Church for many years and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Marilyn; sons: Michael (Sue) Awrey, Kyle (Liz) Awrey, Randy (Blanca) Awrey; grandchildren: Brandon (Kendall), Brittany (Curt) Hall, Michelle, Jake, Kaylee, Alex; great granddaughters: Laney, Payton, Amelia, Rori; and several nieces and nephews. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Donna Cook. Memorial contributions to Parmelee United Methodist Church will be appreciated.
