Theodocia (Teddy) Lee Thompson Obituary

Theodocia (Teddy) Lee Livermore, Labelle FL, 84, passed from this life suddenly on March 25, 2022. There are not enough words to adequately describe our mother in a simple obituary. To say that mom was an elect lady would be a true statement. She was our north star and our rock. Her example of kindness, love and compassion will be our beacon as we continue throughout this life. Teddy was born June 29, 1937 in Syracuse, NY to Frederick H Klein and Theodocia Lois Klein. One of eleven children Teddy is predeceased by sisters Jenile Guymon, Lorraine Mazor, Jeannette Jones, Michelle Strong, bothers Fred Klein, Jr., and David Klein. She is survived by sisters Joyce Kendrick (Steve), Donna Austin (Johnny), Carol Bean, and brother Dale Klein (Debra). Teddy grew up in Knoxboro, NY and attended Madison High School, in 1956, she met the man of her dreams our father John J Livermore they wed on June 27, 1957. While her love for John was enormous she had more room in her heart, in 1965 she and John, adopted 2 brothers Bill and Jim Livermore. Teddy was mother to two “perfect” boys, at least in her eyes. Bill and Jim gave her a run for her money. We don’t remember a single athletic event or social performance that she or our father didn’t attend, every football game and wrestling match was “coached” by Teddy from the sidelines. Once grandchildren began to arrive, we quickly took a back seat. Her love expanded with each child, and nothing brought her more joy than the sweet face of each newborn baby. Her goal was to show each of them how much she loved them. In 1984 John passed away, and mom, carried on without him, never really whole again. Teddy was a faithful member of the LDS church. Nothing was more important to her than living a life devoted to her faith and her testimony of the Savior sustained her in the years after John’s passing. Mom’s life was blessed with callings in the Relief Society, and Primary. She truly loved everyone she served. Teddy is survived by her sons William J Livermore (Holly), and James Livermore, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. We take comfort in the reunion mom is having with those who went before her. A graveside service will be held on May 7th 1:00 PM, at the Madison Cemetery in Madison, NY, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband John. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
