Bertha Nobles Scott, 97, of Florence, Alabama, passed away April 6, 2022. She was the oldest member of Stony Point Church of Christ.

 

Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 12- 2 p.m. at Stony Point Church of Christ. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the church with Brad Adcock officiating. Burial will follow in Stony Point Church of Christ Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by the father of her children, Dalton Scott; parents, Ernest and Amey Nobles; brothers, Sherril, Buddy, Ernest, Jr., Herbert and Jimmy Nobles; sister, Rosa Keeton; grandson, Johnny Darby; and great-grandson, Chris Moore.

 

She is survived by her sons, Raymond and Jerry Scott; daughters, Dot Holder, Carolyn Darby, and Jenny Hanback all of Florence; grandchildren, Sheila Kress, Danny Bevis, Jennifer Darby, Ernie Scott, Travis Scott, Chrisie Wood, David Hanback and Eddie Hanback; great-grandchildren, Brittany Kress, Desiree Nixon, Zac Prestridge, Eric and Cody Darby, Brandi Webster, Matt Bevis, Ty and Maggie Mae Scott,  Logan, David, and Maria Hanback; Holli Grace and Ticer Wood.

 

Pallbearers will be Ernie Scott, Danny Bevis, Eddie Hanback, David Hanback, Eric Darby, and Zac Prestridge.

 

Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Darby, Travis Scott, Matthew Bevis, and Justin Kress.
