Edward Lee Lindsey Obituary

We mournfully announce the passing of Edward aka “ET” Thomas-Lindsey.

Edward (ET) was born to Alease Lindsey and Edward Thomas on June 21st,1982.   Edward acknowledged and accepted Jesus Christ at a young age.  He found a musical voice and enjoyed singing solos in his church choir.

“ET” was a stellar athlete excelling in Tennis, Basketball, Track, and Football.  He was a “Star” Running Back at Downers Grove High School located in Downers Grove, Illinois.  Edward transferred his senior year to Benton Harbor High School where he continued to display his God-given talents. Following his graduation from Benton Harbor High School in 2002 he shifted gears and developed a passion for music. He had a special musical connection with his Uncle Al Lindsey.  His creative genius was displayed through rapping.  He was spontaneous with a swift flow of lyrical content.

Edward was so charismatic, hilarious, cunning, fun-loving, and jovial.  One could say his love for family was as vast as the universe.

Edward is survived by:  Three children Eric, Shaniya, Danasia, and two sons that preceded him in death Baby Tiny and Lil E.  Four sisters Tina (Perry), Trina (Mike), Tanina, and Sylvia, and 2 Stepbrothers, Hank & Eric.   A host of Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and numerous friends.
