After a long battle with Alzheimer's, Eliseo Cedeño slipped quietly into the arms of the Lord on April 3, 2022, at the age of 74.  
Eliseo Cedeño, also known as “Cheito or Eli”,  was born in Luquillo, Puerto Rico on January 20,1948. He was raised in Chicago, IL, and then relocated to Newark, New Jersey.  He attended Newark Tech High School and later Lincoln Tech along with other technical institutes.  Soon after graduating he became a mechanic in Newark and was later employed at the USPS where he eventually became a supervisor, accumulating a 27-year career.  He married Ana Hilda Crespo on July 13, 1968.  Along with being an awesome DAD, he enjoyed being an avid fisherman, and gardener and would love listening to country music while he did both. He was a dog lover, and handyman who loved playing his cuatro and striking up random conversations with a stranger, especially on our many road trips.
He is survived by his wife Ana H. Cedeño and four children Rosemarie, Phillip Edward and his wife Dr. Elizabeth Suarez-Cedeno, Jeffrey, and Aimee, 
and four grandchildren Lyanna Marie and Jeremy Austin Rodriguez, Sophia Bellamina Cedeño and Elijah Antonio John, and his mother Matlide Fuentes Vazquez Cedeño and brother Carlos Cedeño.
