Robert L. McGill, 90, of Eldorado, passed away on April 2, 2022 in the Marion Veterans Hospital in Marion, IL. Robert was born in Ledford, IL on January 23, 1932 to the late Charles and Mable (Bailey) McGill. He worked in the Bud Plant in Gary, IN and also at the telephone factory in Harrisburg. He was an Army Veteran serving in Korea. He was a member of Eldorado VFW and American Legion. He is survived by his children, Robert S. McGill, Gordon Wayne McGill, Danny McGIll, Patty Stark, Roberta McGill and Dianne Summers and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and nephews and nieces and cousins. He is also survived by a brother, Orval McGill and a sister Lorene Robinson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn McGill and four brothers and two sisters. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Wolf Creel Cemetery. Burial will be in Wolf Creek Cemetery with military rites.
