Jordan Richard Washell, 1969-2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jordan Washell at the age of 52. Born in New
Orleans, Louisiana on June 20, 1969, Jordan spent most of his life in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he
died on March 30, 2022. He was the son of Marian Washell (née Newell) and Richard Washell
(deceased).

Jordy attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale where he made many lasting
friends. After graduating from Florida State University, he went on to Barry University in Miami where
he obtained an MBA. This served him well as he started up his own Assisted Living Facility, and
eventually took over and ran a long-time pizza business.

Always one to reach out to those with needs greater than his own, Jordy will be missed by many
people. A service will not be held, but his friends are coming together on social media to remember
him.

Jordy is survived by his mother, his aunt and uncle, and several cousins. His ashes will be scattered at
sea.
