Raymond F. Valentine Obituary

Raymond F. Valentine, 77, of Malta, went to be with his loving wife Susie on Tues, April 5, 2022.  He was born in Roseville, Ohio to the late Jim and Nellie Vanoster Valentine.  He was a truck driver working many years at Putnam Trucking in Zanesville and retiring from Ronald Cain Trucking in Stockport.  He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam and was a member of the (OFTA) Ohio Field Trial Association.  He is survived by a son, John "JT" (Cindy Mason) Valentine of Zanesville, a step-son, David Sowers of Minnesota, 2 daughters, Amber Valentine of Malta and Connie Mercer of Zanesville, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, special grandchildren, Johnathan and Raegan and his beloved dog Queen.  He is preceded in death by his Parents, wife, Susie Anderson Valentine, 4 brothers and a sister.  A visitation will be held on Thurs, April 7, 2022 from 5-7 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.  A caring cremation is taking place at his request.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
